Spread the Word
We need lots of community help and some major contributions to meet our critical goals. You can help by letting others know about the Met's needs and your own support of the Save the Met campaign.
Encourage Local Businesses
Business partnerships and support are really the key to a healthy Met in the future. Patronize our current corporate sponsors and business pledgers, and thank them for their generous support. Ask other businesses you care about why they have not yet stepped up to "Save the Met," and encourage them to do so before it is too late! August 31st is fast-approaching. (You might point out the good publicity we give business supporters, here on the web, and in the press.)
Businesses can make a StM campaign donation with our Pledge Form (online, or download and print a PDF for them). For longer-term options, give them our introductory Sponsorship Opportunities (PDF) flyer, then have them mail or call the Met for more details.
The Met is a proven destination for people who then need to eat, so restaurants have a great chance for some goodwill with payback: download and print our Restaurant Opportunities flyer to encourage the places you love to support the Met.
Appeal to Family and Friends
Send an Email Message
Tell your family and friends, members of your social or church groups, your co-workers, etc. about the StM campaign, and encourage them to contribute.
Just copy the text and paste it in your own email message.
Buy Clothing to Encourage or Brag
Purchase shirts, bags, infant and toddler clothes, and more with the Save the Met and Met logos. We earn some StM money, you get to be a walking sign!
Encourage others with the "Help Save the Met" items, or show your support by saying "I helped Save the Met."See samples at the Met desk, and order directly online from our CafePress page here:

Pass Along the Pledge Form
Download then email it, or print and hand it out. People can mail it back, or pledge online, by phone, or in person.
