Summer Enrichment Programs are drop-off workshops designed for children between the ages of 4 and 6 years old. (Children under the age of 4 may register if they are fully potty trained.) Programs run 9:30 am to noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in July and August. You can register for just one or all 23 programs. Snacks and supplies are included in the cost of each program.
Tuition:
• $25 per class, per student for non-members
• $20 per class, per student for Met and ACM members
SIx-for-Five Special Just for Met Members: Register for five classes and get the sixth class free!
Please return the registration form with your tuition payment. NO PHONE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED. You will receive a confirmation of your registration in the mail. Refunds will be made only if students cancel two weeks prior to the class. A full refund will be made if a program is cancelled.
BY THE SEA — Monday, June 30th
In this workshop we’ll build sand castles, make waves and learn about the animals and treasures you might find at the beach.
FLOWERS, TWIGS & ROCKS — Tuesday, July 1st
A walk down a trail will supply us with the items we’ll use to make wonderful works of art.
ART FROM NATURE — Thursday, July 2nd
We’ll use shells, stones, and plants, to create beautiful pieces of art.
FABULOUS FORTS — Monday, July 7th
We’ll use all kinds of materials to build some really great forts and we’ll learn about some real forts.
SCIENCE WONDERS — Tuesday, July 8th
Spend the morning doing all kinds of science experiments and learn some tricks to amaze your families.
SUMMER CHEF — Thursday, July 10th
Stir, bake and eat your way to fun! We’ll talk about nutrition, prepare some great snacks and take home our own cookbooks
MUD AND SUDS — Monday, July 14th
Get your hands dirty! This class offers art and play experiences with all kinds of “messy” and “sudsy” materials. * Please dress appropriately*

Explore a magical garden where fairies and trolls await your arrival. We will create a little magic to add to your garden at home.

Try your hand with the different hand of fabrics. We will tie-dye and batik fabric as well as try weaving.
