Birthdays and Other Parties at the Met

Give your child and their friends a special time at one of their favorite places (while making things easier on yourself!).

We are happy to host your birthday party or other event at the Met. You get:

• Our Party Room and use of all the Met's exhibits and focus areas for two full hours.
• Fun for up to fifteen children (including host and guests).
• All the paper plates, spoons, napkins, and cups you need (or bring your own if you prefer).
• A Free Admission Pass for each child for use on a future visit.

You supply the cake, snacks, and refreshments you'd like, and we do all the clean up!

The cost for members is just $80 for a party of up to ten children, and only $8.00 per child over the ten. For nonmembers, the cost is $100 for a party of up to ten children, and $10 per child over the ten.

For the ultimate in birthday fun — or for a special family or organization gathering — have a private party by renting the entire Met! This is available any time outside of normal business hours, and costs just $80 for two hours (in addition to the fees described above). Additional hours are $30 each.
